    Deep-engraved Lyft STARR 'X' Wall-Mounted Bottle Opener—part of our six-piece German-cast series honoring the 100th anniversary of the original Thomas Hamilton patent, issued on April 21, 1925 and the Incorporation of Brown Manufacturing Company on June 8th, 1925.  Only 36 Lyft openers, each engraved with '1925–2025', were produced. The logos reflect some of my (David Brim’s) personal experiences of living in Decatur and running Brown Mfg. Company in Avondale Estates.

    In recent years, I started driving for Lyft (and Uber) for extra cash.  Ride sharing takes me out of my 3-mile reality of Decatur/Avondale, having me go into corners of Atlanta I hadn’t seen in years—or actually ever.  I meet many interesting people and experienced life in a differnt perspective.
